Building-Blocks quilt along with Leah Day

I'm going to start on this quilt along with Leah Day. It shows how to do piecing and also free motion quilting which I need to learn. Haven't decided on the colors yet.

I made christmas stockings for my dogs. They turned out cute.

A Jan Patek applique quilt I completed.

Did change it alttile bit, I added an extra tree and the moon instead of a flower and bird. Turned out pretty good.

Happy Stitchin Along and Halloween Sew Along with Stitches of Love

Had my foot operated on Oct 10 2013 so I was unable to finish these wall hanging quilts. Hopefully after the holidays I will be able to finish.

Finished Tres's FSU quilt. He helped cut the squares for me. He did a great job.

It's been awhile..

It's been awhile since I have updated my blog. Been busy with sewing and quilting.

Making a Quilt for my 7 yr old grandson Tres

Tres wanted me to make him a quilt, so I had him cut the squares. Needless to say its an FSU quilt. Haven't decided how I'm going to do it yet. Will post pics later.

Update: I inventoried my stash and didnt have enough variety of fabric, so this is postponed for now!

Just joined the Christmas Quilt Project at Patchwork Times through Stitches of Love.
I've never tried a Quilt-Along before, so this will be the first. Sounds like fun. Now to look for fabric for this beautiful quilt. The pattern was $22.00. Check back in and see how I'm doing..

Christmas Stockings for the Cats

I made some Christmas stockings for my sister's cats. Fish template with Christmas Cat fabric. They turned out pretty good.

The embroidery was done on my Singer SEQS 6700 and the embroidery was from  Embroidery Library.
